Thermostatic Shower Mixer Sets - Improve Your Shower Experience

What is a Thermostatic Shower Mixer Set?

A thermostatic shower mixer set, as the name suggests mixes the cold and hot water of your bath and maintains that exact water temperature throughout your shower. It protects you from any sudden changes in the water supply to the shower.

Bathing showers that come equipped with a thermostatic mixing valve (TMV), thermostatic valve function or anti-scalding technology is an ideal shower to blend hot water with cold water. These shower mixer sets ensure safe, uniform, constant bath outlet temperature and prevents scalding.  With thermostatic showers, you get a constant temperature of 38-degree centigrade or a temperature suitable for you to have a comfortable showering experience, both in low and high water pressure.

The thermostatic valve functions inside the shower mixer set in mixing the hot and cold water to a pre-selected temperature. It instantly reacts to any form of change in the temperate or pressure of the water supply, and shuts down automatically - should there be a failure in any.

Ideally, a thermostatic shower mixer set is an essential component of a well-designed, safe, convenient and economical shower.

3. Convenient, Safe and Economical: Purchasing a bath shower with a thermostatic valve function, besides being efficient, is a convenient, safe, and economical way to improve your showering experience.

• Convenience – A thermostatically controlled valve and a thermostatic valve function can help you run your shower at the same temperature throughout -  even if it’s turned off. This allows you to have a convenient bathing experience with your thermostatic shower.

• Safety – Its anti-scalding technology contains a child lock and an auto shut off mechanism that will work in case of failure of cold water supply. A thermostatic shower that is equipped with a thermostatic valve to control temperature means that there is no risk of scalding from a sudden increase in temperature and no surprising shocks - should the temperature plummet. If the water temperature goes above or lower than your desired pre-selected water temperature, then the water flow will automatically shut off. Hence, the child lock feature will also prevent children from increasing temperature even by mistake. Children and the elderly at home can benefit from a thermostatic shower mixer set in your bathroom so as to avoid any accidents.
